About Me

Hi, I'm Ashley! The hands behind Ash & Fire.

I first started working with clay almost 19 years ago. In college, I shifted my focus to painting where I majored in Art History, but over time I realized painting was no longer my passion. 

After my daughter was born in 2022, I felt the need to find myself again within art and I joined a ceramic studio where I immediately fell back in love with clay. It turned out to be what I was missing creatively all along. 

In 2025, I was incredibly fortunate to set up an at home studio in my basement where I create all my pieces in the evening hours after my daughter's bedtime. 

Each item is thoughtfully made by hand with care and attention to every detail.  My hope is that these pieces feel special in your hands and can become part of your everyday.
